We hope you can get a glimpse of what we will be feeling on our day. 

Our wedding day was never in question, we knew from the start that this was it. What we didn’t know, is how deep this love can go. 

Let’s take it back to December 2019 when Danielle and Devlin’s worlds collided in the most unexpected way.

Danielle was a London-based model, walking runways and shooting in beautiful campaigns. Meanwhile, Devlin was living his best life in Cape Town, chasing his dreams. They were both living completely different lives on opposite sides of the world.

But little did they know, their paths were about to cross in the most serendipitous way. Danielle was visiting Cape Town for a month and heard that a guy named Devlin had moved into her friend’s house. She was a little sceptical about this so-called newcomer and didn’t know how the dynamics of the group would change.

When Danielle landed in Cape Town, she was picked up by her friend Jess and taken to her house where Devlin was also staying. The first time they laid eyes on each other was like something out of a movie. The sun was shining so brightly behind Devlin that Danielle couldn’t see him clearly at first. But as he moved closer, the light shifted, and they both saw each other like two angels standing in front of one another.

They went to a friend’s braai that evening, and Danielle tried to speak to Devlin, but she had never approached or wanted a guy like this before. Meanwhile, Devlin was playing it cool, but he knew he wanted nothing more than Danielle. Later that evening, their conversations began, and they didn’t stop. They were completely infatuated with each other and couldn’t seem to get enough.

They played a game in the kitchen where they walked on a straight line towards each other, and then Devlin grabbed Danielle and kissed her. They were bound to each other. It was December 2019, and they had the time of their lives in Cape Town, enjoying the beautiful summer and forgetting about everything else but each other.

They knew long-distance was tough, but they were willing to do whatever it takes to be together. They had plans to visit each other in London and Cape Town, but Covid put an end to the travelling dream. It was not more than 2 weeks and Danielle was on her way back to Devlin in South Africa. Finally – Covid did something right!

Instead of driving each other crazy in lockdown, they fell more in love with each other and faced every challenge together.

Fast forward to 2023, and they are getting married on their family farm, where they knew they would get married after their first month of laying eyes on each other. Their love is eternal, and they cannot wait to start the next chapter of their beautiful story together.
